i don't think they will ever allow you to change your name. what "valid" reason could you possibly have?

I very much doubt it. But I don't know of anyone that's ever tried. I suppose it's possible, but I'm sure you would have to have a very good reason.

        ??

I asked them last year this ??-as a hypothetical- as someone bet me they could- and had changed there name- turns out he had only opened another account- not changed names-- paid me though- but the answer is no never nadda----this was their answer=

We believe that an important part of poker is knowing an opponent. This is
because the more you play against someone, the better you know their style
of play, and thus how to react to it. If someone changes their User ID, the
other players will think it is someone new, but that person still knows
them, thus gaining an experience advantage at the tables. This
policy protects everyone who plays at PokerStars, including you. It would
not be fair if one of your opponents, who knows your play very well, changed
their User ID, and hidden behind a new identity, used their experience of
        your play to beat you.

Some people have been able to change their names but is very rare.
Say you used your actual name as your SN,then you have a reasonable cause to change it.

I tried to get it changed when some turkey opened a novelty condom site with my SN and they wouldnt bite.

I know for a fact they will do it. I was in the warmup a few weeks back and tried to look up a pso member. Showed they were below 1525 in previous month so I sent a question to support about it. The answer was that the player was allowed to change his name (no reason given) and that score was wrong one for him.

On the 2plus2 poker forum you can read of one shark who changed his name because some peeps found it offensive.

His nic was 'I Hate Juice'

                    Think about it........

(Is ssuglia can prove his nic means smegma in Farsi then he may have a shot)

So, after 4 or 5 emails back and forth- support finally said that name changes are allowed- but would not tell me under what circumstances this is allowed- due to " privacy issues" so idk.. gl---
