  • How to win the new league

So given that we are looking at best 15 scores (of a max 19 this month) for masters league and best 12 (of max 9!!!). What are the best tatics to ensure you score well?

Sadly my forth best score (of 8 played so) far was the third game of the new league, I registered hoping to be finished in time to play but was a sit out.

With this in mind is it better to play from hand 1 or late reg?

Tight is right but should we be using 10 bb, 7bb 5bb to be pushing all in in push fold mode or not at all wait it out the extra 2/3 rounds for an extra 1 or 2 points on the leader board?

    What are your thoughts?

Currently it seems whenever I'm available to play the league tournament, I always find myself distracted into playing either in the casino or another real money buy in tournament. As I currently only have access via my mobile device, this poses more problems than you think.
Small screen, combined with an auto switch tables, reaction time of an eye blink. I've had times I've been deep in tournament at the same time playing the league freeroll, auto switching tables has cost me a better cash out than I was expecting, as it happens that quick, I'm getting tournaments mixed up along with bet sizing appropriately. Most of the time now if I'm already playing an mtt tournament I've bought in on. Its all in bingo time for the league freeroll.
THINK I need to invest in a new laptop, don't you? Lol

StAnger636 is trying to win both leagues this month. He's currently 1st in Initiation and 3rd in Masters. He has - posts in the forum, I wish he would post more often, lol.

My strategy has been to suck out often- hit those 2 and 4 outers on the river to stay alive, lol. I've been very lucky so far, but luck always runs out eventually, so hoping I can play better poker in the games that are left.

              @tempha80

I already misclick and make errors on a big monitor. There is no way I could play on anything smaller, lol.

So in not playing yesterday I dropped 7 places. That said the player 1 spot above me has only played 3 games but has 2 final tables.

I have been watching a few players at the top of the leaderboard and seems they are waiting until the very last minute and late registering,
I'm not a fan of that strategy but whatever works for you I suppose

I have seen the same thing, Given that late rag is basically the hour and every person gets points not just the top 15% it does make sense. Yes you miss out on early chips from poor play but you also avoid an early bad beat.
Of course if everyone late regs, we will not have a game.
Due to other commitments I have ended up sitting out in several games which I do not like but given that you get a minimum of 10 points for first knocked out and only 13.48 for middle of the pack (33rd out of 60 it has helped keep me in the running otherwise they would be little chance I could keep up with everyone.

I hope to be able to play 3 of the remaining 4 games but who knows for sure.

                    Good luck

                      that would be me

                      and about 12 others...………….

also using the clock at times

only playing by the rules Ron. I did not make them

                      so that being said...………

                      my last 4 games...……….

                      I may start playing Poker

                      Maybe

                      Cheers

p.s. 6 of the top 10 are late starters I believe
