  • PSO live tour Gold Strike

Im gonna try this again. I must have lost connection when i posted my trip report yesterday because i dont see it anywhere, so here goes.

The second PSO live tour event of 2006 was held at the Gold Strike Casino in Tunica Mississippi last saturday night. It started at 7:30 pm with over 325 players for a NLHE event and had a $500+50 Buy-in. The reason it started this late was Because at noon that day in the same poker room, a $1000 NLHE Tourney began.

We had three players from Pokerschoolonline playing in the event. Below is the finishing order.

    1st Jpatmull
    2nd Ocean Ace
    3rd Timid Bill

It took till midnight to be able to declare Jpatmull the winner. I watched both these guys closely all night. Unfortunately Timid Bill got hit by a bad beat early.

Congrats to Patrick for winning his seat in next years PSO live tour final event and thanks to Jonathan and Chris for playing too. Mark Napolitano was also playing in the evening tourny and just missed being in the money. Tuff luck Mark.

Cash Games did not start until around 10pm and to my amazement most the games on the board were pot limit omaha starting at 10-20 upward to 100-200 stakes.

I personally enjoyed seeing Mark, Kaelaine, Oil Doe and and Chess sarfari who was Big Help to me. I am Honored that Pso allowed me to serve as Team Leader for 2 events and will be glad to assist again if ever asked to in the future.

    See you at the tables

thanks David, I'm sure you put in some long hours too.

I guess you being the unofficial "Mayor" of Tunica, they were in good hands and thanks to Frank and the crew from Austin for making it so special.
