  • hiderer's time vault challenge

    1) Get to NL50 with $1500 bankroll
    2) Play 20k hands on NL50, stay there if my play is ev+

    Starting condition:
    BR - 250$
    Game type - NL10 SH
Current win rate (over last 20k hands) - ~6bb/100

    Track breakdown:
NL10 (start adding NL16 limit with BR=400$) planned hands ~25k
    (I need 150$=1500bb, which is about 1500bb/6bb * 100 with 6bb current winrate)

NL16 (start adding NL25 limit with 750$) planned hands ~73k
    (I need 350$=2187.5bb, which is about 2187.5bb/3bb * 100 with 3bb supposed winrate)

NL25 (start adding NL50 limit with 1500$) planned hands ~200k
    (I need 750$=3000bb, which is about 3000bb/1.5bb * 100 with
    1.5bb supposed winrate)

So in total I need to play around ~320k hands over 2013th.

FPP will be spent for bonuses/sattellites, depending on what is more profitable at the moment. All winning from the tournaments will be added to the bankroll.

Hi Hiderer! Wishing you luck on your 2013 goals.

Read your plan and it looks very specific, which is a good thing since it usually means that you've thought it through and through. Will be keeping an eye on your future posts.

    Again, good luck!

Had an awful first session toward the challenge - ~1k hands, -250bb.
Over-estimated my personal multitabling capabilities (6-8 tables) and session duration (2hrs). Winding down to a 4-5-tables and 1 hr maximum length.
Apparently any goal which I set for myself in terms of hand volume breaks my game (this is not the first notice).

              Damn this game.

BR = 216$ cashed out after another 1k session.

Loss is 34$ (EV winnings are ~15)

              AA < AQ pfai (BvB)
              96s < QQ on a 966 multipot flop ai (expectedly Q river)
              AJ < 85o on a AJ5 flop ai (4-flush board to river)
AA < AK in 3bet pot (runner-runner flash)

Feeling like a John Malkovich in Rounders.

              Challenge is cancelled.
