      Hey Grade,

I like the graphs but in order to qualify for prizes you need to post tourney id's as per the rules.

        I realise that Chris,

do you want them as we go or is it ok to post them if we are successful after 100?

                  Nice figures, Grade b.

Shows you what is possible when you apply yourself! Now, if only I could do it myself instead of just messing around Lazy maybe is not the right word for me, but I find it so difficult just to knuckle down.

                  Any tips???

                  Cheers,

                  TC

                      Tips for the 9 mans?

Easy watch the spacegravy vids and follow his advice / charts making a lot of differance to my play.

Has made me tighter earier and looser with only 10 BB's.
or for getting the results written down,

in which case i export from my tracker to a template in Exel and paste into the posts.

oh and lots of lovley Vodka, alothough y results tend to be better if i drink it after i finish multi tabling.

Believe it or not I already set out some reasonably achievable goals for myselfumbup: That was not the problem, it was actually knuckling down and doing it that was the issue. I suppose part of it is a lack of motivation and maybe a lack of concentration. I seem to be quite content to play a few games here or there and have a bit of fun but the hard work part seems to take the fun out of it for me. I know a lot of other players are the same and was just wondering if there is a cure all for this. I am reasonably conscientious about lots of other things but I seem to get easily distracted from Poker

Thanks b, I have watched all the videos, I am pretty sure I know what to do, but 20 minutes in, I am screaming to get away from the table in SnGs. I do not multi-table, I have no HUD and I take notes as I go along on every player and my reads are normally spot on. I think the copious note taking could be part of the problem in my case and probably is not even necessary. So I end up playing cash, scrub the note taking and I am not concerned if I lose, and I have a few beer as I play, and maybe even play 3 or 4 tables. I have a bit of craic and enjoy myself. It is just that I cannot seem to get the mindset of taking it really seriously and applying myself and what I know. So I will often call, when I know I am beat, just to see that I am right. Conversely, I am really quite good at advising others how to play and how they should approach it. Maybe, I need a coach myself for the mental game side of things Thanks for the input guys, TC

                          I hear you,

I would guess without really knowing, that the goals you set are not right for you at the moment.

If STT's are not right for you i quite understand the play in an STT is far differant from cash.

                          but haveyou tried differant formats
                          6 max
                          heads up
                          turbo
                          Omaha
                          stud
                          horse

                          How about MTT.

can you list your goals and how you feel about them.

A cash game goal sounds like it would suit you.

Do you play full ring or 6 max?

                          NL or FL

I told my goals to my better half, which is even worse than listing them. LOL

I will sit down and try and come up with something realistic and achievable, post it here and then hope that inspires me to give it a proper shot.

                            Thanks b,

I think there's 2 kind of fun There's the eff fun: Enjoy a drink, shoot the shhit, enjoy the company, have great laughs and who cares if I lose a dollar or two. This kind of fun relaxes you and you forget all your problems. Then you have the make money fun: A more serious way to have fun. Stick to a serious goal and even if you make $3 during your session, well at least it was fun to make that money. Sure you will lose in some session, but at the end of the month, was it fun making money and achieving your goals? Now nothing says you can't enjoy both ways to have fun, especially the eff way. Hope this helps. umbup: P.S. You should start your own thread and keep posting your updates, that way, we can go and encourage you and yap about your achievements..lol
