  • 1. For 2 years now, on and off - with friends usually.
    2. Online poker always seems to take away my money at the river. I guess it is harder than live poker, since you can not look the opponents in the eyes.
    3. If I won a $1000 in a year, that would me magnificend, although i guess I can't really expect much.

              • I use to play a lot of poker in high school with the boys and lost my touch for a few years in my skills and consistency. I hope to work kn my smart betting and reading my opponent. I would also like to brush up on my tournament playing as well.

                • Used to play occasionally, not much time for improving my game. I spent about 4 years on play money tournaments only, which is a shame.

                  1. I am keen to improve my reading skills and strategy

                  3. I'll build a million dollar bankroll from scratch

                      2. I think the game is hard but if you play alot you could improve. I think the game should be kept as a hobby and not a full time job
                      3. My goal is to have fun and make a monthly profit so i can increase my bankroll

                      • I started playing poker about 15 years ago in Red Deer Alberta, Canada and I am still learning.
As a beginner I did ok in small local charity tournaments winning two of them. Don't laugh, I got a set of poker chips from each one which I still have today.
Sadly my game has never gone to the next level, even though I have helped a few of my friends learn and they seem to be doing better then me at times. I think my problem is I am playing not to loose. I need to step up and play to win. please help.
