        Personally, I wouldn't call this a bad beat unless you knew your opponent was a nit. Except for certain metagame situations many will make this play. If the player is maniacal your call is almost mandatory.

        Giving bad beats (getting your money in way behind your opponent's range) is -EV.

        Good decisions.
