  • Took Down A Pot With 72o

Was playing some 4NL 6-max last night and having a good time when I found myself dealt 72o in the BB. Folded to SB who limps. I haven't played with this guy too much yet, but I am starting to think that he is a bit of a weak player. While I usually will turbo-check in this spot, I just really didn't want to this time. I think about how I've played over 100,000 hands at 4NL and never really did anything crazy. Well, that time was now and I went for it!

I like the raise pre, because it's amazing how often the SB will fold to a raise after they've completed. The flop action is just crazy though. I love how you repped QQ+, but I'm often not even making a c-bet here.

Yeah flop raise was crazy. It's just that I made up my mind pre-flop that I wanted to go for it and win one with 72o haha. To be fair I would have folded flop or turn had he done anything of than call my flop raise/check turn. Guess he had Q's weak kicker or flush draw.
