Seems pretty obvious to me that this is a bad button steal that just happened to luck out, and questioning your play after could only be to tilt you.

If it was me I'd be typing ROFL multiple times in the chat, just for fun.

That is a good read and a sick beat. Keep getting your chips in good and things will work their way out.

        Hi Plaws -

I like your call given the strong read you had on this player - you are a decent favourite here and when you hit top pair on the flop you are very unlucky not to take it down.

        HOWEVER -

I like the shove on the button with any 2 cards here, given stack sizes and blind levels - look at all that money in the pot before he shoves! Especially in the Premier League where a lot of players won't call light as they favour survival and preserving their stack. The opp has plenty of fold equity over much better hands than he actually holds. Then in the event when he gets called, he has the standard 1/3 chance to win versus two overcards - you are a 2:1 favourite but that means you will lose a third of these situations in the long run.

I don't like his questioning your play - maybe that was what pushed you to tilt - but the play was not bad by either player in my opinion.

        Good luck
