  • first bad beat at pokerschoolonline 2 weeks in

hi everyone so this is not my worst bad beat ever but it is one of the first ones i have taken since i joined the school so here it is. late in a 10,000 man pso skill league tourney 750 left i have 5500 chips roughly and hold Q_Q . feel good about my hand but there are some big stacks around me and i want to to obviously isolate someone.

blinds 250-500 im in middle position and utg+1 raises to 1000 i can call but decide to raise all in and take my chances . he thinks about it. he has a 13000 stack so really not the propper odds for calling 4500more unless he holds apremiuim hand i dont think anyways.
finally calls and flips over K-J off suit. im happy forsure . one over but ill live with that when having 10 big blinds. and the rest of the story is in hand history. tell me what you think lol

if someone knows the exact odds he had to win the hand the way he did, lol if that makes sense id appreciate answer thanks.
this my first post so be understanding, haven't played much at this site and just joined pokerschool two weeks ago

Hi there 9AceKicker86, Firstly may I say it's great to see you here in the Forum and your very welcome here. At least with the bad beat you made the decision to get the chips in before the flop and let the poker gods decide your fate, that last ace on the river was the last card I would have expected to see. I don't think I've seen quad aces being out kicked before. Again, it's great to see you here and I look forward to reading your posts. Raiser umbup:
