    I cant believe this just happened. He went on to win the Fifty50 from this win alone - ridiculous. He didn't play a single hand after this, probably because he knew he made a terrible call and got extremely lucky.

    That's not as bad of a call from the opp than you think.

    They basically have 33% of the chips invested into the pot and if you put their hand into pokerstove against 2 opps with the range of any pair/any broadway, then they have 52% hand equity on the flop. 52% equity vs 33% pot investment is a +19% EV play for the opp.
    Yes, they were behind, and got lucky, but they had the equity to make the call.
