lost 4 out of 5 with aa heres one did i play this bad,why do i keep losing please tell me

Of course you didn't play it bad. The reality of AA in a three way pot is that you're only 66% against the 2 under pairs. But if players are willing to get it in for stacks against your aces pre-flop...well that's what we're playing for right?

The 4 out of 5 losers is just the simple facts that in any endeavor that is numbers based ANYTHING can happen, and will happen,in a short sample.

Look holdem, you say that you've somewhat tightened up your BR management decisions. That's a HUGE step in the right direction as proper BR management can often be the difference between having a downswing and going Busto. The longer you can stay in the game the more hands you'll see, means the more the odds on ALL your hands will fatten out and find their proper level (or close to it) in a large sample pool.

If you are having trouble wrapping your head around this actually being the truth then download the free-trial version of one of the tracking/HUD sites, either Poker Tracker 3 (PT3) or Hold Em Manager (HEM). This should allay your queries as to whether the deal is on the level, when you actually see that your hands perform within a couple points, plus or minus,of their expected norms.

After that start devoting more time to studying your hands and looking for leaks in your game. We all have them, don't kid yourself. The self-analysis tools in these 2 tracking sites programs are great for this. I suggest that you watch Dave's (TheLangolier) video number 5--Using Hold'em Manager for Self Analysis--to help you with this. In fact you should be making a trip to the video vault on a daily basis if you aren't already. Lots of gold to be mined in there---FOR FREE.
