Decided not to post Badbeats as advised but i feel obliged to post this. Couldnt actually beleive this happened. I just LOL : This. If the player in the pot here was a loose player i could of said ok fair enough but he was a tight player.! I have nothing else too say lol.

I don't know a great deal about pot odds but your bets may have gave him the odds to call preflop, maybe someone more knowledgeable could clarify that for us?

He flopped a straight plus a flush and straight flush draw and you bet big and called his re-raise.

You might want to look at your bet sizing as unfortunately sometimes the premium hands are beaten and usually with drawing hands like suited one gaps.

Hi Sir thanks for the response. Well i dont think it was horrible for him to call with the 10 8 suited but from his image and the fact he had played less than 10% of hands i certainly wouldnt of expected him too, after i bet and he shoved i was never folding for the extra he put in as i was priced in i feel. I thought mas he would have was A J , J Q , etc but i didnt think 10 8 at all ( maybe for a moment). Anyways it happened and that's that i guess. TC sir

i felt your raise was good enough just that the big blind happen to call and get lucky, plays like that also happen here and just not in the open league, welcome to the premier league and good luck

Your pre-flop 3X raise gave villain good odds to make the call. From the big blind he only had to call 320 into a pot of 855. If my math is OK, that's pot odds of 2.67 to one. Plus additional implied odds should he hit his hand against your larger stack.

10-8s plays well enough against your likely raising range. For me, his call was the correct play.

            * mark my word, Will be arguements, will make me look bad, I'm sure, as the opponent has many friends here, and of course, the peanut gallery will be all over me, for 1 reason or another, saying I didn't raise enough, but from my position, was clearly no larger than a 3xBB raise needed, with the "Premier League" being so tight.

Yup, you got it, again, the worst hand* hits, proving my theory on whoever is behind will catch up.

Just like the old Sega hockey, you get too far ahead, and the cpu boosts the weak player to catch up.

yeah, be Happy to go back to the open league, at least I know enough not to bother trying to play AA there.

All in fest for me to lose points, and get back to open league, where I have time to play through to the points every tourney I play, instead of having to rely on playing 3 hrs+ /tourney to hit points, trying to get registerred for these tourneys while I'm at work, and able to play in enough tours to compete.

Make notes on me, I'm gonna be a donkey, or will I?
