Yep KQo is about as overvalued a hand as there is sometimes.

The one thing I would change here if I were you is that at this point in an MTT (PSO or cash) and you're sitting on slightly under M3 ANY entry into a hand by you, opening or not, should be a jam. Period.

With his stack would it have changed the outcome in this particular hand? No,most likely not. But at M3 you're flat pot committed on any entry into a pot anyway so you should be opening aggressively.

Ya for my next trick I'm gonna try saying Biggie Smalls in the mirror three times like in that South Park Halloween episode (think that was the one with the naked altar boys on leashes,LMFAO).

          thanks Mox.

i considered shipping it pre which happened anyway when he forced me all in but i wanted to try and get max value out of my hand, my table was actually playing poker for once(PSO game), i picked up -6 points for that game which isn't the end of the world but next time i'm straight up shipping it.

I hear ya on the max-value line and it's a valid idea. And that leads to another thought process level we can discuss on this hand, this is what makes this game so great.

Here's what I'm thinking here myself. Now in this particular hand it doesn't really matter what you would have done here I think. He's already got about 1/7th of what you can ship in the pot anyway and it's almost a pittance of his stack to call you. PLUS he has a reasonable hand. So any play by you here and I think he's coming along for sure.

But say the stacks are more comparable. Now you're roughly M3 here so you're way inside push or fold only range. Therefore you can be shoving a fairly wide range of hands. Being as you are UTG+1 an early position play is going to narrow your range a little, but at M3 there are a lot of hands that you can make a strong case for jamming. So if I were the BB a jam by you here would be the standard play at my blind I would expect you to make.

If you make any other bet here,if it's me,my radar is going off because I'm telling myself that you WANT callers. THAT makes me narrow my opinion of your likely range quite a bit and I'm likely to give you credit for a very strong hand.

So to me this is a situation where the smaller bet by you would give me more pause than shipping it. Were the stacks more comparable of course. THIS hand like I said he's pretty much coming along no matter how you play it.
