Me, a blogger?  Sure, why not??  8)

I've always loved to write, and I've been playing poker somewhat sporadically since seagull_2005 (my husband) introduced me to it in, guess when, 2005.  He's a much better player than I am, but I do think poker is a fun game, and I'm looking forward to learning how to become a better player thanks to Poker School Online.  

I created my PokerStars account late in January, and was able, by the skin of my teeth, to play enough tourneys and cash tables to become both qualified and active in PSO for February.  My score and rank right now are pretty atrocious, but it's early days yet, and honestly, it had been a long time since I'd played poker... nowhere to go but UP, right?

In the New Players forum, I mentioned that I work a weird schedule... I'm in retail, 3d shift, and we work 7 nights in a row and then get a week off.  It's pretty cool being able to work 2 weeks and get a month's pay.  This is my work week, so I haven't had a lot of time to devote to anything other than work, sleep (not nearly enough), and just enough poker to whet my appetite for more.  And to show myself that I'm really not the world's best player... I have a LOT to learn, and I'm looking forward to next week when I hope to be able to dive into the site lessons and forums more fully and start learning where my leaks are and how to plug them.

My job is pretty cool, but I'm not making enough to pay all the bills, so it would be very nice to start earning a side income from playing poker.  It could happen.  Can't win if you don't play... so I'll be playing more during my off weeks and hoping to score some ITMs, some final tables, some plus points which I desperately need... and, oh yeah, more MONEY!  :lol:   A win would be awesome, too... but I don't think I'm ready for that yet, unless I just happen to get very lucky.  Someday, though...

Look for me in the forums... look for me on the Holdem tables, and in whatever tourneys (NL or FL) I can get into... I'll be around!
