To finish in the top 100 you have to make use of all the tools that are available to you. Do not underestimate any of them. Aside from using the time clock to your advantage, I feel the next most important tool is the "notes" page. In the world of Pokerstars, this option has limited usage as usually you won't see the same player too often except for possibly cash tables. But in the PSO league you DO see the same players over and over throughout the month. If you identify the donkeys, the overly aggressive players, the tight players, and so on, you get an edge when you are making a decision in a hand. If you make the same decision in a hand no matter the opponent, then you are leaving yourself open to take a hit from the tight player. And put down all info you can get. If someone always chases straight and flush draws, note it. This kind of info will help you maximize winnings and minimize losses. If someone overvalues a hand like A6, note it. You may not run into the player again in the league for a week, but when you do, you already have the info you need to take advantage of their weaknesses. More to come....
