So I'm currently attempting to climb the mountain from $0 to $1,000+. I can't believe the swarm of bad beats I've been taking. It's BEYOND unbelievable to me. It's BEYOND dumbfounding.... it's simply.... *FIST THROUGH COMPUTER*.... if you know what I mean. So I started yesterday with 6.20, and by five o'clock I'm down to 1.30.... Simply heartbreaking for me, because it's not like I'm playing stupidly, it's just that whenever there's any luck involved, I almost always lose. Luckily, that night I entered my first of those 55c MicroMania's and had myself a dream tournament. I was simply dominating, and I had accumulated a nice stack. In the middle of the tournament, however, I got my pocket aces cracked by pocket deuces. Well.... atleast I got cracked by a smaller stack. Ended up making the final table, and for about 45 minutes no one had gotten knocked out. There had been I'd say 15 all-ins that were called, and yet no one had gotten knocked out. After a 2 hour 30 minute MicroMania, I somehow pulled out the win on my first try. I felt great. So now here comes today's story. After a few days of not playing poker, I play a six-man $1.20 sit-n-go. Again, I'm doing great. With 4 people left, I pick up pocket aces. Couldn't be any better right? Before I knew it, the two guys before me go all-in! Fantastic! I quickly call, and the guys turn over A10 and AQ. I got em covered! But ofcourse, the A10 picks up trip tens, and the AQ hits his straight. So one gets the side pot, one gets the main pot, and I don't get JACKSQUAT. Man....

"That's poker baby!"
