Hey everyone, if you came here via my "Challenges" thread, then I have to say this to you first and foremost: "I am not yet ready to give out my strategy on how I accumulated those 153 VPPs." Sorry to dissapoint.

Now that the air has been cleared, I feel compelled to tell you guys a little something about my poker beginnings. I started playing poker around May of 2011. Before that time (Aprill 2011 and earlier), I had an idea an idea of what poker is (pair, two pair, three pair), but I have never really given it much thought. I still remember when my wife was pregnant with our second kid, how she would stay up late in the evening just playing Stacked by Daniel Negreanu on my PSP, and I kept on hounding her to just put it down and get some rest.

Do you ever get those days when you have some free time, go on Youtube and start typing in the searchbox words like "supercars" "mansions" "millionaire" just to have another reason to confirm how much your life sucked? Well, I was doing that exact thing one day when I came across this video:

After I saw that video, I started to watch all of the other "high stakes living" videos that I could find. And after I watched those videos, I started to get really curious about what the deal is with this poker thing.

But, I can honestly say that the single most influential video that really made me decide to begin my poker journey was the "I AM NANONOKO" video. After I watched that, I started to multi-table play money NL like crazy. All in here. All in there. "Oh, so you're 4-betting me? Well, here's a 5-bet. And don't even bother 6-betting me because you know that I'm just gonna go all in."

I really feel like typing on and on and on, but I think that I'll pace myself and leave something to your imagination.

On my next post, I think I'll tell you guys about my time at the fifty50 tables, as well as my Zoom NL experiences.
