Well, it's been about six weeks since I started playing onlne poker, and it's been great fun.  Soooo much to learn!  I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of better knowing what hands to play, more comfortable with betting and raising, and a wee bit more confident in my ability to read other players from their behavior.

At the same time though, I'm still feeling at times like I'm my own worst enemy - panicking and making bad calls when the blinds get high and I'm short-stacked and somebody's putting the pressure on me, getting impatient to build my stack and getting so excited I've made a good hand that I fail to notice that somebody's possibly drawn a straight or a flush, betting waaaay too much with way too little a chance of winning, etc.  Hopefully some improvement will come with practice - I guess there's no better way to learn than through doing.  It's been frustrating, it's been fun ... sometimes games have left me feeling like a total dope, but there's always tomorrow where I'm drawn back again by the challenge and excitement and the chance to learn anew.

Two more weeks left to the month of October.  Hopefully I'll be in decent enough shape to give the PSO League a decent go next month now that I've qualified - looking forward to that!
