I found that i was tilting a fair amount when i got a bad beat, out drawn, cold decked or card dead especially if it happened several times in a row during a tournament; it didn't matter what type of tournament it was. I also was very results oriented and tended to tilt when i didn't get the results i was looking for. It took time and i had to tape a note to the top of my sreen to remind me to ignore the results of the hand or the game and concentrate on the way i was playing. Hey guess what, not only did i stop being results oriented but my game improved big time, i also noticed that i was not tilting anymore. I think leaving a game thing about how i played win or lose has made a much better poker player.
