I AM A DONKEY-FISH.....I feel as though saying this is my first real step to becoming a poker player. It's been hard to fight my luck driven impulse, those "I know I can hit an Ace on the river." I really want to be a river-chaser and catch it every time. Half the time I really feel like I have the best hand when in reality someone had a hand I just hadn't accounted for. But that is just not good poker. I've learn to not rely mainly on luck, I'm learning the skill of the game. How to play draws, how to bet my poket pairs that set, I'm starting to come into my own.

I can now fold anything. I used to not be able to fold anything suited or with an Ace. I still haven't my favorite starting hand and that probably will never change, but I'm at the point where I can fold about 70% of my hands with no regret, even if I do hit amiracle river. I do still find myself chasing the river, and it'll get better.

I'm am a donkey, even five months in the game. If you are reading this because you are coming to terms with being a donkey-fish, you are in the right place. This is the PSO the best place ever to learn how to play the game. There are so many players who are willing offer you a helping hand or a word of encouragement. I am not where I want to be at all in terms of skill, but I KNOW I'll get there.

Just be calm, learn the game and put your own spin on it. There is no one method to this game as I've learned. It'll get better.

I am always in need of help so any advce you want to give I will gladly take.......

As always I wish you good "skill"
