So today is the last day of September, and the weather outside pretty much sums it all up... rainy and miserable. Now I will say it now, there still are a couple more tourney's to play, and I plan on playing to the best of my ability. I am currently sitting in 958th and as it stands, cashing $2.50.

This was my first month playing the PSO Skill League, and I began playing the tourney's on the 14th of September, so had about half the time as most of the players around me in standing. I started out with a 590th place finish in my first tournament and felt pretty good, then I kind of went on a mediocre streak gaining a few points and losing a few points until 09/17, when I had my best result so far of 138th, and that's when I started to climb in the standings on a consistant basis. Then it was up and down from there, as I climbed all the way up to the top 500, and that's when things took a turn for the worst. A flu bug swept through my family and I was out of commision for a couple of days, when I came back I  a huge slump. In 5 tourney's in the last 2 days, I've lost about 100 points, and am dissappointed to a certain extent. Although, in my defence, at least 3 or 4 of those results are because of bad beats.

Either way, I am going to play a couple tourney's today and see if I can manage to climb into the top 500 again, but that will take some skill and a whole lot of luck. Overall, I am pretty happy with my results this month and look to improve in October.

I would like to congratulate everyone on a well played month, including Darkman61(http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/users/?id=Darkman61), who has shown me the ropes and welcomed me warmly. I hope to be up on page 1 next month and give you guys a run for your money.
