On November 15th, I started the NLHE Course of Study (CoS) and as I near completion of the basic section I'm starting to notice the trends and mistakes I need to work on in order to be a better player. There were a lot of things I never considered or even thought about when playing poker and I've learned more from the course than I've ever known before. The dilemma I'm having is that there are some days were I play very well and make the right calls and folds, and then there are other days where I just lose my mind and call or raise all-in when my gut tells me I'm beaten. I call this Jekyll and Hyde mode and right now I think this is the biggest leak in my game. I plan to keep working on my studies, playing in tournaments and ring games, and along the way, I hope Mr. Hyde goes away. LOL!!! Ric
