Hello people.

This is a really scary moment for your old Psycho friend. I am at the point I really hoped to get sometime, but now that it's here, I'm scared speechless.

I submitted the last post for the WBCOOP and received the tickets yesterday. As I was a late starter I picked the first game I could play, which was a mixed NLHE/Omaha tournament, event nr.11. I joined and started playing Omaha for the first time. It all went great for me. I finished 3rd and received a $55 entry to a SCOOP event. It took 7,5 hours nevertheless so I went to bed at 5am proud of my self and tired.

Next day, today, I woke up and a little before event 13 started, I logged in and checked my mail. (Btw I finished right in the bubble, 96th at this crazy 4-max NLHE tourney, where I am proud to say I started sitting to the right of  V.Wahlbeck-scary, huh?). here's what I saw:

You have earned a ticket to this Month's 'The Big Bang' tournament with a guaranteed $5,000 in prize money.

The 'Big Bang' tournament will take place on the second Saturday of this month at 13:00 EST and can be found in the PokerStars lobby under 'Tourney' > 'Private'.

Oh. man, that's great. I opened the Pokerstars client, Requests/Tournament tickets and here you have it:

Big Bang, Main Event, $55 SCOOP, WooooW.

What am I gonna do? How do I perform at such important events? Scary, scary, scary. I'm just a free-rolling duck, what am I doing swimming in the shark pond? Happy and scared is a strange state of mind, I have to find a way to handle it. After all what can go wrong? The worst that can happen is I miss all the chances and return to freerolls, right? That kind of excitement was forgotten as it has been quite some decades that I am not competing in sports anymore.

Well, wish me luck, I might gain something out of it after all, but even if I don't, the fact that I made it this far and got a chance to try is enough for this ol' duck.

And as they say in awards:

I have to thank my teachers, my fellow PSOers and especially Lady Luck who decided to smile at me after quite some grinning and booing, Paul's(royalraise85) "good luck" wish was a very successful one- thanks so much, Paul!!!!

Wish me luck, people, as I wish good luck to all at the tables.
