Guaranteed prize pool in the Asia Championship of Poker Main Event. The festival kicks-off tomorrow at PokerStars LIVE Macau, with 15 events scheduled across 17 days. Team PokerStars SportStar Ronaldo Nazario will make his first live poker appearance since finishing 26th in the 2015 PCA Main Event for $42,180. Mike McDonald’s latest six-figure score, after winning the EPT Malta €25k High Roller. He defeated Finland’s Juha Helppi heads-up to win his first EPT title since a PCA side event win in 2010. McDonald is still the youngest ever EPT Main Event champion, having won EPT Dortmund in 2008 aged just 18.

First prize won by Steve O’Dwyer from Ireland in the €10,000 Single Day High Roller Event at EPT Malta on Monday. O’Dwyer, who already has EPT Grand Final and EPT Super High Roller titles to his name, topped a field of 99 players to take home €327,030 from the €1,299,800 prize pool.

Amount of money raised at the Quintessentially Foundation Poker Night in association with PokerStars, which was held at The Savoy Hotel, London, last Thursday. The funds have gone to two charities – Place2be and Right To Play. Team PokerStars Pro, Jake Cody, came second in the tournament, while EPT host, Joe Stapleton, also made the final table.

Top prize scooped by Natan Chauskin in the Italian Poker Tour 7 Main Event, which came to a finish on Sunday October 25. Chauskin topped a field of 947 players to win €149,560. The IPT event was among the opening events of the EPT Malta Poker Festival.

Jackpot prize won twice in the space of two days in Full Tilt’s Jackpot Sit & Go’s. On October 20, ‘schmally19’ from Canada won $75k in the three-handed Sit & Go, and a day later ‘belts21’, also from Canada won the jackpot prize. No deals were made, despite players having the option to do so. Consolation prizes of $15k and $10k were awarded to the second- and third-place players respectively in each tournament.
