Guaranteed prize pool for the PokerStars World Record Tournament, which will take place this coming Sunday (Feb 23) at 13.00 ET. It is a $1 buy-in tournament with a cap of 230,000 players, which means there will be at least $70,000 in overlay. It will beat last year’s Guinness World Record for Largest Online Poker Tournament, set by PokerStars, if it exceeds 225,000 players. Players can register for the tournament by going to ‘Tourney’ > ‘Special’ in the PokerStars lobby.

Money won by first-placed ‘power941’ from Romania in last weekend’s Sunday Million. A total of 7,863 players took part with more than $1.5 million in the prize pool.

Buy-in for the ANZPT Perth Main Event, which takes place from February 26 to March 2, at the Crown Casino. The wider festival features 12 events and begins tomorrow (Thursday, Feb 20).

Number of events scheduled for the EPT Sanremo stop, which is taking place from April 9-20. The festival will partner with the Italian Poker Tour, which includes a three-day €770 IPT Main Event accumulator format that allows players to buy into all three Day 1s, taking any chips they have won through to Day 2. Other EPT festival highlights include a €4,900 Main Event, €10,300 High Roller, and a €990 Open Face Chinese event.
