Total amount guaranteed in this weekend’s upcoming Million Dollar Sunday Part 2, which will see boosted guarantees across another 10 ‘Sunday Major’ tournaments. This time the two headline events of the day are the $11 Sunday Storm and the $530 Sunday 500, which both have $1 million guarantees – an increase of $700k on their usual $300k guarantees.

Total amount raised for the Typhoon Haiyan appeal fund. A total of  $280,039.13 was donated by PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker players and staff. PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker then matched all funds raised, sending the total amount over the $560,000 mark.

Prize pool for today’s EPT Charity Challenge, which is taking place at the EPT Prague Poker festival. Competitors in the six-player tournament are: world number one tennis player Rafa Nadal, legendary Brazilian footballer Ronaldo, former Ukrainian footballer Andriy Shevchenko, Italian skier Alberto Tomba, Olympic field hockey gold medallist Fatima Moreira de Melo, and Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu, who is currently ranked number one on the GPI poker player rankings.

Number of players who participated in the Eureka Poker Tour Prague €1,100 Main Event (Dec 8-12), which more than doubled the tour’s previous best of 652. It is also a record for the largest poker tournament held in the Czech Republic.
