Game 3 -01/07/2011

Rank 3408
Field 9945

Reasons for loosing: 1.A LITTLE UNLUCKY (53% favourite vs. 1 Opponents) 2.NOT PLAYING PREMIUM STARTING HANDS ONLY (JJ??)
All in (SB JJ) preflop vs.Loose raiser (Kh Qh (raiser)
Board Qd 5s 2d 8d 4c
My Cards (SB) Jd Js
Opponents Cards (UTG+1) Kh Qh
Learnt: ONLY PUT MYSELF IN COIN FLIP SITUATIONS LATER IN TOURNEY, OR WHEN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY DUE TO LOW CHIP COUNT

I'm pretty sure this kind of beat happens all the time (it should happen roughly 50% of the time) so I was wondering if anyone has any input as to how to avoid them, other than as I have said, avoiding playing coin flips when I have a decent sized stack?

Also, I think this play would make more sense in a normal MTT tournament, if we weren't playing for points - if that makes any sense? (Gamble with odds in favour with view to increasing stack size).

Thanks

Rob
