Plan, apply, evaluate, adapt the plan, apply again, evaluate again, adapt the plan, apply again, evaluate  again... and so it goes.
A scientist friend of mine was visiting my new city this weekend and stayed at my place, this is how he was explaining in simple words the process of a science project development at this work, a major high-end technology company. Which reminded me of that famous quote from that famous scientist:

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" -Albert Einstein.

For me it's time to evaluate again, make sure I am on the right track and see what I can do differently. So far we are getting into the second semester of 2013 and both my actions and my plan for the year need to be seen from a different perspective.

Going from 30 dollars to 30.000 is not a goal, if you put it like that, it's a wish. The idea originated from the fact that 30K is roughly the amount of money I need to pay off all my study loans, and 30 dollars is the bankroll I had at the time the challenge started.

The real challenge behind this wish is to become a better player, make profits in the long run and have positive monthly balances, hopefully profitable to a point that I indeed have made about 30K by the end of the year.

I had six months of play and study this year, attended several poker training sessions here at PSO, read a few books on poker, played many different types of tournaments, cash tables and sit and go's to and still have no fancy results. In March I had a 500 dollars win at the Big Bang and that's about the biggest win this year.
The last days of this month of July will be used to play freerolls and some serious analysis using Poker Tracker 4. At the beginning of august I'll be setting up new goals and strategies for the coming months.
