I’ve been searching around for an idea to post, and finally came up with one. Unfortunately it took a few losses to get the thought-process going.

Lifelong Learning

Every hand should be a learning event. Every win or loss should get you asking - what did I do right, or wrong? Could I have made more (or lost less) money if I’d played that hand differently?

Was it really a ‘bad beat’, or is that just my excuse for not taking the time to learn from the hand? Am I really the best player this world has to offer, or am I just having a run of really good luck?

Poker, like most pursuits, should be a lifelong learning experience.
