The reson I concentrated on poker in the first place was that i lived in the Sacramento area when I was in my 20's.  The main two local gambling options were Poker or Horseplaying. And I lived on the east side of town where the were a half dozen or so cardrooms instead of taking two buses just to find a copy of the Daily Racing Form a day or two in advance.  It was so much cheaper to enter one or more of the local cardrooms ultra low stakes tournaments.  And I would get a free copy of the poker magazine of the week. In a way with the option of borrowing poker books from the library and saving up for a bus to Lake Tahoe/Reno casino's.  All in all it was free pro gambler job training. But now that I can play in tournaments online that cost nothing to enter and then take the pfofits an enter more low cost tournaments, sit and go's as well as trying my hand at cash games.  Now what I want to know is how is my use of technology to finance my career training such a threat to the Rebublican party that it was put on their national party platform?
