Well, played my first game on PSO homegames tonight.  I'm only really playing on here to be part of a league table and see how I fair up again some of the other competition.  First game, not so bad I suppose.  Bit disappointed mind you.  Started off as two tables of three.  Both of my opponants were relatively calm. No real moves going on.  Anyway, i managed to stay out of the way most of the time when the tables were combined to a 6 handed game.  Didn't go out first, bonus.  Got to 3 handed with a tiny chip lead.  Knocked out the short stack to go heads up with 5.5k against about 3.5k stack.  Managed to keep the guy on the ropes for most of it until I attempted a check raise with my paired king with an ace on the board.  He shoved, i folded, which put me about 3k to his 6.  Very next hand doubled back up to 6k, and managed again to keep him on the ropes until he min raised to 300 and I shoved for his remaining 2.9k with A6 and I got what I call a very questionable call with Q10. He hit the Q, now i'm down to 3k again.  Ended up shoving with KQ pf and he called with 44, end of game.
Played well i think.  to be honest, i should have won the game and had the best start possible, but never mind. back again for the next one, and hopefully, I'll get a few more points for the leaderboard.  I keep hearing that consistant good results are what makes us profitable, so i'm trying to forget the whole heads up stuff and remind myself that its consistancy that wins in the end. CONSISTANCY WINS IN THE END CONSISTANCY WINS IN THE END CONSISTANCY WINS IN THE END CONSISTANCY WINS IN THE END................................
