I thought multi-tabling was a good way to play, and it is, but it has some serious drawbacks. for one, poker is a game of concentration, of knowing your opponents, and their tactics. when multi-tabling i found that i was just making snap decisions based on position, pot size, number of callers and opponents stack. so i didn't take the time to look if i was being given a rope, or was having the pot stolen from me. i definately think, although a lot less fun, playing one table at a time is the way to earn money, but not lose it.

playing one table at a time means i get to focus on each on of my opponents and learn their tactics.
