It’s been quite a while since I last posted on my blog and a lot has changed since then. For starters, I’m very happy to say that I’m now a moderator in the forum here. This means I have a legit reason to hang out here more often! It’s been a busy November for me at my regular job and now with mod duties, my time feels like it’s forever shrinking. For those of you who have a busy life like I do, there’s a new feature that will help you manage your time on PokerSchoolOnline better. Read up!

In the past, I have signed up (or made mental notes to sign up) for some live training events in which I wanted to participate but ended up missing. One in particular that sticks out for me was a double-header Sunday with frosty012 (Tyler Frost) and WizardOfAhhs (Kevin Thurman) that happened several weeks back. It was promoted on PSO’s home page at the time and I was pretty psyched. I was busy doing one thing or another, as one is wont to do while living life, forgot about it and needless to say, I was sorely disappointed for missing it. The same can be said of some league tournaments that I especially wanted to enter. Well, never again!

PSO members can now set alerts on live training events or league tournaments. On the Live Training page, you can click on add to select an event to attend.

You’ll then see the “My Schedule” ribbon at the top of the page appear.

You can click on the “/MY SCHEDULE/” on the left or “Full Schedule” to the right to get to the details of your own calendar and set your alerts

To choose a tournament, you can click on the "Tournament" tab below your schedule and add the tournament you want to enter.

On your schedule, hover over the event or tournament for which you want to set the alert and a window will appear. Click on the "Set Alert" tab

Then all that's left to do is click the "SET ALERT" button....

...and 15 minutes before your event, you get an email.

Now it makes it easier to keep track of all the events and tournaments you want. I hope it helps you with organizing your time here. Let us know what you think.
