Recently I have had yet more down time with no poker (shingles, then herniated disk and surgery).  I generally find that for every 3 new things I learn, I identify 2 more thngs I need to know and I also manage to forget 1 due to post 50 brain decomposition. :-P   Unfortunately, during down time the forget rate marches on.  Shortly before I stopped this time, I was having a problem pulling the trigger and sitting down at a table to play, even for as little as $10.  I was ignoring my positive results and slowly becoming paralyzed by the growing list of things I realized I didn't know, yet.  There is just enough luck in the game to make it hard for bad players to realize they're not having a run of bad luck, there just bad.  Conversely, I have always been cautious to declare that my good results are because I'm good and not becuse the planets were lined up. It's gonna be tough for me to convince myself that I know enough to start playing again and the remaining "gaps" can be filled in over time.  With good BR mgmt, shouldn't be a problem, right?  We'll see....
