Finally had better luck last night in the PSO.  Early strong hands were holding up and I found myself in the final 25% of the field.  But then I made a crucial mistake of being distracted with things IRL, and missed totally playable pocket 7's that would have stacked me up well, even with it being split.

That set the stage for another thrashing by the poker gods on the next three consecutive hands.  Had I played the sevens, with everything subsequently playing out the same, I would have still had a 10K stack instead of warming the rail.

Lesson learned, it's important to stay attentive to the game at hand.  Maybe I should consider going for quality over quantity.

Well, at least it was positive points!
