Micro Millions V is just around the corner now and in the past I've never really taken advantage of these awesome series put on by PokerStars but this time it'll be different! I'm super excited and fired up this time and I want a share of the millions. With my aim of becoming a better and more serious player I thought I'd take a leaf out of the pro's book. Just like they plan and schedule for the WSOP I think it's only prudent to do the same with the Micro Millions so I can get the most out of the series.

Now like a lot of micro stakes players I am nowhere near rolled to just play any and all of the series. It's very important to only play what you can afford to avoid several things. Mainly busting your roll and going broke but also to make sure you're playing your A-game and are not the scared money at the table so you can really go for the win. But first thing's first, take a look at the schedule and work out when you'll be able to play and what events you want to take part in. Now I know I have a wedding on the 20th and obviously I want to find games that aren't too late in the day for my usual sleeping pattern to avoid playing tired and making mistakes. So here are my personal choices:

Definites

Event 3: $3.30 NLHE 6-max, 50k Gtd

Event 5: $3.30 NLHE, 25k Gtd

Event 31: $3.30 Stud Hi/Lo, 10k Gtd

Event 32 or 97: $11 NLHE Sunday Storm Special Edition, 300k Gtd

Event 40: $5.50 NLHE 6-max turbo knockout, 40k Gtd

Event 66: $2.20 NLHE, 10k Gtd

Event 69: $3.30 NL Single Draw 2-7, 5k Gtd

Event 76: $2.20 NLHE, 20k Gtd

Event 86: $1 NLHE, 15k Gtd

Event 98: $22 NLHE Main Event, $1M Gtd, $150k + to 1st

Maybes

Event 79: $3.30 PL Courchevel, 5k Gtd

Event 99: $3.30 NLHE turbo, 30k Gtd

Total Buy-In (not incl. maybes): $57.10

Now 57 bucks happens to be about a quarter of my bankroll, far too much to spend on some tournaments I might not get a single cash in, especially as I'm not much of an MTT player. So how can I achieve this without breaking the bank?

Well the answer is 3 fold. Firstly I'm lucky enough to have gotten a $22 MTT ticket and an $11 MTT ticket from previous PSO series so that sorts out my two big buy ins.

The second part of my soloution is provided by PSO!

There are some fantastic promotions going on in the run up and during Micro Millions including a free $3.30 ticket if you haven't already passed the MTT quiz or lots of opportunities to get satellite tickets. Just by attenting certain live training sessions, which are already great value, you can earn yourself a free ticket to one of several satallites with an amazing 100 tickets added! Even if you can't make the trainings you can buy in to these games for just $0.33! I've already got one ticket for nothing and I hope to get a few more. All the info on the promotions can be found here if you're interested in finding out more.

That just leaves me with a few tournaments to find the buy-ins. A $5.50, a $1 and a couple of $2.20's. The lower ones are well within my bankroll but with a huge array of MTT and SnG satellites running round the clock why not take advantage? It could be possible for me to get entry to all of these for just a couple of dollars.

Now all that's left is to get my share of the millions! Good luck getting yours!
