2010 was a really unlucky/bad year for me.  I had analyzed my game from 2009, and decided that I would concentrate on the 27 and 45 player sng's.  The thought was that it was the right size and profit margin to increase the bankroll.  Boy was I wrong!!  After being + $2100 in 2009, I immediately had a losing month in Jan, and it just continued right on through.  The PSO gave some confidence back to me, and I had winning months in Nov and Dec.  But, I lost $910 for the year.  Now, my most profitable tourney is the 180 man $4.40 in 2010, but they just take soo long to play.  I still like the 45 and 27 man, but when my A K loses to A 9 at bubble time, and you are still on that type of losing streak, it makes it tough.

Last night I won a 45 man turbo, and although my aces got cracked 10 minutes into the 180 man, I still felt good.  My AK held up against A J at the final table, and just before that I had KK hold up against A rag.  I know this does not seem shocking to most, but 2010 was so bad, it seems like every time I had KK, it lost.  I won a flip with K Q vs A 10 to take a huge heads up lead, and although the short stack won 5 hands in a row, I still actually won!  Then on Bodog, I won a $28 double or nothing, and came in 2nd in a 1 table sng.  Just now after missing the 3pm PSO, I won two $10.80 double or nothing tourneys here on stars.  Things went normal, when I was a head, it held up.  No crazy 2 outers, or runner runner flushes kicking me to the curb.  Feeling good, the Poker Gods are either smiling at me, or at least looking the other way......
