..Dodged bullets tonight! I laid down pocket Jacks, to a big reraise. I mucked my Jacks face up, and he was kind enough to showed Aces...only to bust out on the bubble. But progress has been very good! Return on investment is around 97%, and in the money 17% of the time, OPR rating 87%. Patience has been the biggest thing that I can say that has helped my game 10 fold! I can’t stress enough about watching the betting frequency of the players at your table. Physical tells are gone, but betting tells are there. Get to know what every person is doing. (Loose, passive, tight) Once you have labeled your players, you can start to gage their hand strengths, and play accordingly. Also you will be able to take advantage of the “tights” at the table, in the later rounds when the anties come into play! Know who your loose players are also is crucial. You don’t want to get into a race situation with them. Avoid them at all costs! I live by this rule, (don’t have a name for it yet!) I raise in early position with Jacks. I get a reraise “all in” and two callers!? We're less then 10 minutes in, and I’m faced with this already? I fold and there is a three way “all in” BINGO game. The first reraiser, Ace 6 suited, the two other “all ins” are Ace 8 off, and pockets sixes! The sixes triple up. The sad thing about this, is he will never know how bad of a play that was....The good thing for me is that I will continue to sit back and watch the “bingo players” (my new favourite word) hack each other up, and watch me climb into the money with out risking a dime.....
