A ticket that is, but doesn't start with B so coudln't work it in to the title. HUGE Thank You Stars or admin or whoever it was that banged a Big Bang Stamp on previous post, I didnt even notice it then thought I'd been red stamped as a warning  then had to go searching for what it meant and very pleased to find a NLHE tourn instead. I'm too new here, still can't believe the amount of promotions, events, training videos and Tourns to play going on here at Stars, amazing!

So, Update, ofc ignored all that bit about turning off satts and played 2 MM8 10c re-buy sats for the PLO8 event. Had one table of $3 PLO tourn, one of $PLO8 tourn and the sat, after an hour the only table I had more than starting stack on was the Satellite lol so I thought it may actually work, I may actually win a seat. So an hour later, that sat and another one gone to dust, the PLO8 tourn gone and just left in the PLO one, mini cashed in the end, got a few playable hands shortly after bubble which saw me off.

Decided to have a shot at the MM8 Main Event, Hokdem not my game but what the hell. Was doing OK, just playing hands for the 1st 3 hours was my plan, had a table not too soft but not hard, with 1 or 2 fish there to keep the rest of us happy. Didn't really make much progress though, start 10K, hovered around 9-12K, until KK in the LB. Fish on D (down to 5K so liked to raise pre and go all in on flop or turn - a bad bully basically, right idea, no actual plan of how or when to carry it out). D raised, I 3B with KK expecting a reshove, he called for 1K, flop QTs4, I Half-PB expecting a shove and he just min raises, turn K double suited, I check, he shoves, I call, he flips 45 off suit for bottom pair. Cue some comments from table as they were amazed I managed to stack off. So up to 15K+ and got a dry spell.

No worries. Just patient and take spots. Got 55-99 no sets, got TT-QQ few times, always sailed into the muck on AK boards, so raise-folded about 5 hands in 4 rounds which was nice and left me with 12K. Now the hand that was interesting, as I either got read like a book, or I was right and he blew up:

I thought I was repping a flush draw, and he blew up coz his Ax (AJ), KK-QQ which he'd played badly pre and on the flop had now backfired and I'd hit my repped flush. So he blew up and shoved, but I didnt have what I was repping, I had another hand entirely and so his hand was actually a lot better than he thought. Either that or he read me like a book, I'm not sure. Seems a strange value play as theres little I can call him with if i don't have the flush, but if he played me then I got played 100% theres no 0.1% in my favour, he either got me hook, line and sinker or he blew up and I shot myself by misrepresenting my hand and therefore not getting enough information about his. Either way down to 3K and could only shove from then on, lasted less than one orbit, had fun though, but if its not an Event in future I'll spend the 20$ on a PLO tourn instead.

Meanwhile, found the PSOL Training Video Section Thought I may as well start at the beginning and soon got to some interesting/make you think ones. Going to watch the decsions about commitment one again today to make sure I get it. Not many PLO ones about I notice, but have found the Live Training Sessions, attended 3 so far, including a re-run of HU battle and the Home Games one last night. Both very good and learned something, looking forward to Omaha Week they mentioned whenever that is. Played the Home Game Tourns and was running 2nd in Holdem and 08 at the same time before managing to go under rather quickly, holdem 1st ofc, lost a race and that was that. 08 took a bit more effort, actually appeared on screen as I was playing, which was marvellous so everybody could see me go in with 2nd nut lo draw and 1 med pr on flop, cue backdoor trips counterfeiting my underpair so his AK3x beat my A36x with AK high, on the screen, right in front of everybody, had to laugh

So thats that, now turned off satellites, just this second lost $3 PLO8 with bottom set and 3rd nut low draw vs straight draw wrap and no low draw, he called PB flop, he PB donk bet turn and called all in, cue hi straight card river Poker, it just wouldn't be the same without the luck. It'd be a lot harder for a start as only pros would be playing So yeah, satts off, my PSOL League Game has been on fire for a few days, by which a mean a smouldering wreck not a massive heater, so gonna have to do something about that pretty darn quick if still want to qualify, hit 150 VPPs for this month, yesterday, so hoping that counts for something, if not this month then next at least, when I play to win I do better than when I play for points the way I'm supposed to so need to get a better plan for that.

Now got a cleaner lobby so can spend time on good tourns instead of getting all excited and jumping into everything coz so unused to seeing tourns playable all day. BRM applies now, didn't matter so much with 30$ or less but now have a chance to build and build so fun over, main event played, shot at glory attempted, back to playing what I'm good at where I'm good at it, I hope...
