Sometimes I almost swear that I am doing the right things making the right decisions and I will look these hands over and over and keep taking horrible beats. It blows my mind that I will make a good raise and people will call with absolute crap only to make their impossible catch of a winning hand on the river. Now I go back over this in the lessons and the only thing I can come up with is that I am not betting big enough. But I have a hard time believing that these people should have called any raises in these particular situations and yet they do and are rewarded for what anyone including themselves would say was the wrong move and get the winner on the river. I know I know this is poker and it happens but it seems it happens really really often and it gets to the point where I just can't fathom how it could possibly add up. It just seems to happen way too often. Maybe my play is to blame but I just don't see how. Maybe I am just in a bad mood from taking all these bad beats lately maybe my hot run is just around the corner and I will be on the other side of the coin on this, but that doesn't seem very likely either.
