What is better? Shipping a big field in 1st or landing oodles of Final tables but finishing outside the #3 each time?

Unfortunately, it was the later for me, just out of reach of getting in the best "In The Money" but still cashed well enough.

Out of the 8 $1 Sit & Go's I played tonight, I landed 5 final tables (one of which was a 180-man) and came away with some 'OK' cashes. Played well, didn't give up too many spots to improve on pure ICM/bubble mechanics and didn't spew shove but couldn't outlast to #3

... so a result, but there is nothing like the feeling of a #1 to make you feel alive

Here is the summary of the last couple of days

NOTES : I am actually showing profit for the first time in a long time. I am probably playing better than I have and its down to solid, non-tilty, non-gambling methods. Sure, I may only chip up $3-$5 per day, which is barely minimum wage for an hours work but its my hope that this is honing my skill level, giving me practice so that when I am ready to move up to stronger stakes with a better bankroll, my play will be far more mature.
