Whenever ur running bad it's time to take a break.  It can be a short break or a long break, whatever you feel is necessary.  Some time to re-focus and refresh, get ur mind off poker for a while and come back twice as strong.  Taking a break every now and then will give ur mind time to build back up the mental strength needed to play great poker.


Anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, maybe even a few days in extreme cases, can do wonders for ur game.  Besides it doesn't hurt to have a life outside of poker, finding a balance between the 2, ur poker life and everything else will only help ur game and improve ur quality of life.
