I got started late last month and wanted to play in enough tournaments to "qualify". I also got off and ended on bad note. It is important to set goals when taking on a project. My project is to really improve as a tournament poker player.Since a Goal without a date is just a dream, we have to set up a few dates. SOOOOO to start of this New Year we have to have some PSO goals:

1, I will seriously enter and play in no less than 10 PSO events each month.
2. I will attain a 1525 rank in January 2011 and maintain it.
3. I will cash in at least 2 PSO Tournaments each month beginning January (now that is 20% of entries so I think this is possible even for me.)
4. I will play cash in at least 1 tourney a month in my local "Club: assuming they get a better ventilation system (the smoke is killing me) or I will have to find a local game without the smoke.
5. I will read at least 2 poker books this year. (I have my eyes on Skalansky's Theory of Poker and Caro's Poker Tells but I know I will probably also get Brunson's Super Systems book too.)
6. I will attend and participate in at least 2 PSO live training sessions each month.
7. I will cash in at least 2 events at Brick and Motar Casinos by June during major tournaments (got my hopes on the Borgota Deepstack and Sr. events in January then the WSOP event at Caeser's in March and maybe the new WSOP event down at the new Harrahs in Pa in I think April or May, Of course a NAPT event at Mohegan would be on my list if the powers that be at PS ever get the new information up.)

Okay that is a pretty good list. Lets see how many I can check off before next year. BTW if any of you want to suggest another 2-3 goals for a rookie like myself (2 years playing) feel free to leave a comment. The ones I chose get a GOAL STAR (get it not a gold star but a goal star... okay forget it, improved comedy is not a resolution for 2011).
