Showtime Hold'em Rules
If you know how to play Texas Hold'em, Showtime Hold'em will be easy for you to learn. The game follows the same rules apart from one. All folded cards are left face-up for the duration of the hand!

As you can from the above image, players holding 8h4c, 4dKh, 7c5d have all folded, and now everyone seated at the table can see their folded hands.

Showtime Hold'em is only available as the No Limit variant. To start playing simply click "Showtime" in the client, select the stake you'd like to play and a seat will be allocated to you or you'll be placed on the waiting list.

More Information on Poker Hands and Opponents
Having the ability to see your opponents' folded hands will help you calculate the strength of your hand. For example, if your hand is 2h-2d, and between the folded hands you see the other remaining 2's (2c and 2s), you know that your hand will not be improving to trips or quads!

You'll also slowly be able to see what hands opponents are folding from certain positions at the table. Of course, your opponents will be able to see your folded cards too….how could you use this to your advantage?

Stay tuned as PokerStarsSchool will be diving into to some basic strategies for Showtime Hold'em, and we'd love to hear your feedback on the game. Let us know in the comments below or on our dedicated ShowTime Poker forum thread.
