PokerStars Announces Lex Live Spring Festival
"I think it's going to be a blast," says Lex Veldhuis...

Those of you who regularly watch PokerStars Pro Lex Veldhuis on his Twitch Channel will know that he's one of the most charming and charismatic poker players online, and very successful too, with numerous wins and deep runs to his name. Now fans of Lex will be able to join him in Belgium for a series of live tournaments appropriately named the Lex Live Spring Festival. It will be held at the Grand Casino de Namur in Belgium between March 27-31.

There's no doubt that Lex is a popular guy, with 148,818 subscribers to his Twitch channel at the time of writing. Back in September of last year Lex hosted his biggest ever Twitch stream with over 32,839 people tuning in to watch him run deep in the WCOOP $5,200 Main Event. To put that into perspective, London's 02 Arena can only hold 20,000 people, and the principality of Monaco is only 38,000.

The upcoming festival at Namur will be a fantastic opportunity for friends made in  Lex's Twitch community to come together and meet in person. There will be a host of various tournaments to play, including some turbo events, a High Roller, and the Main Event. (See the full schedule below.)

"I think people are going to be surprised at how big it is," says Lex. "But I'm confident that we'll still be able to capture that community vibe."

"We're going to be playing poker. There are going to be some other activities, too, and we're going to be hanging out at the bar. There will be some cool twists on some tournaments. People will recognise a lot from the stream in it. I just can't wait for it, because I feel like over the past year the stream has grown so much it just deserves some kind of big event as well."

If you could ask Lex any question what would it be?
