PokerStars School: How did you get into poker?
muha1921: When I was a kid I always loved playing card games, one day I found out about poker and I was instantly hooked. The aspects of luck and mind games intrigued me so I bought a poker set and played poker with my friends every day and learned rules and strategies as time went.
PokerStars School: Who is your poker hero, the player you admire the most and why?
muha1921: I never actually had a poker hero, but I was always impressed with the skilful minds of world-class players such as Negreanu and Ivey and they inspired me to become better at the game.
PokerStars School: You won the Initiation League in January, tell us about this, was it easy or hard?
muha1921: I started playing the league tournaments because I had some free time. Then when I saw the opportunity to actually win something I started to take it more seriously. I can't say it was easy because there where some highs and lows but I can't say it was hard either.

muha1921: My best results in the league was when I finished 2nd two times in back-to-back tournaments.

PokerStars School: What is your favourite format? Is it tournaments, sit & go's, cash games, or spin & go's?
muha1921: Tournaments, because it gives me a chance to play with a lot of different types of players all the way from the rookies to the players who played poker their whole life.
PokerStars School: Do you follow a strategy when you play poker? Sort of like a checklist while you play
muha1921: I usually try to apply all that I learned but you have to actually play a lot of games so that you can learn how to use those strategies properly.
PokerStars School: In what way has the School helped you improve your poker game?
muha1921: The poker here played a big part in my poker development since it taught me a lot of things from bankroll management to in-game strategy advice.
PokerStars School: What tips or advice would you recommend to other players just starting off.
muha1921: Start it as a fun hobby and if you find it interesting then make use of all the articles & videos here. Study hard and play even harder.
