PokerStars School: Tell us a little about yourself?
Reginald91: My name is Reginald Chakapash, I'm 27-years-old, and I live in Chisasibi, Quebec, Canada. For the last six years, I've been working as a heavy equipment operator.
PokerStars School: How did you get into poker?
Reginald91: I've always loved poker, for as long as I can remember. I don't actually remember how I first got into the game but I guess I have my aunts to thank for that because as far back as I can remember I was already playing poker with them while growing up.
PokerStars School: You recently cashed in the Sunday Million for $1,067.70, tell us about this tournament?
Reginald91: I was on a real 'heater' at that time, the cards were going well for me. I just played solid poker and went on to make a deep run, nothing too out of the ordinary, but nice all the same.
PokerStars School: Did you buy-in directly, or gain entry via a satellite?
Reginald91: For this particular tournament I bought-in directly.
PokerStars School: What are the best tournament results of your poker career to date?
Reginald91: I can't remember the exact amounts won but I've made a total of five final tables before in big tournaments. I've become more confident now playing in bigger tournaments.
PokerStars School: What is your favorite format? Is it mainly tournaments, or sit & go's, cash games, spin & go's?
Reginald91: Mostly MTT's, I don't really play anything else, I like that format the best.
PokerStars School: Do you follow a strategy when you play poker? Sort of like a checklist while you play?
Reginald91: Not really, I just play solid poker and I don't get involved in big pots unless I have the absolute nuts. I'll play a lot of small pots during the early stages to try and build a stack but nothing too fancy.
PokerStars School: What tips or advice would you recommend to other players just starting off?
Reginald91: You can try to satellite into the Sunday Million but don't let the buy-in scare you, it's just another tournament.
PokerStars School: Have you played in any of this year's SCOOP tournaments?
Reginald91: Funny you should mention that. I just only busted out of the $109 SCOOP main. The deck was cold for the most part, then I went all-in with Aces against QQ, & 77. A 7 came on the flop to eliminate me. The flip side though is that I won that entry via a freeroll so it didn't hurt the bankroll. I guess that's it, I'm not much of a talker, thanks for the interview.
